Mario Agrifoglio

Born in Santa Margherita Ligure in 1935, Mario Agrifoglio began to paint in Sanremo at the age of eleven. Won the first competition when he was still a teenager, the artist soon came to be known in Italy and abroad, and soon reached a great reputation.
The breadth of his experiences led him to engage in every field of artistic research and make him a character of great interest both artistically and on that of experimental problems. In addition to organizing exhibitions in Italy and abroad, is dedicated to the restoration, sculpture, ceramics and the study of the physical problems that are connected with the painting and created new forms of expression such as "Compensazionismo symbolic" and that "analytical ", receives important and significant awards.
